Film and Words

During my Masters, I explored a vision from underwater—painting with words and painting with film. Navigating cold Cornish harbours, the sea, quarries, and pools, I considered “tidelectics”: what has this water seen? I created short poems and underwater films.

Using both language and moving image I captured the shifting, immersive experience of being beneath the surface.
