Lockdown Shops

During lockdown, I cycled around Bath photographing shuttered shops and restaurants, allowing the camera to reflect both inside and outside worlds. These images explore the tension between peace and fear, permission and restriction — a visual echo of the lockdown experience.

The photos are slightly abstract, provocative, and unexpectedly beautiful. They capture the stigma of separation, the quiet of the high street, and the strange poetry of empty spaces.
