2021: My Blooming Year at Bath 44AD

In 2021, I held my first UK solo show, My Blooming Year, at 44AD Artspace in central Bath. The exhibition was a joyful burst of floral colour and cheer — a welcome reprieve during uncertain times.

The space brimmed with vibrant paintings on paper, from abstracted petals to enormous jugs of flowers. The room buzzed with scent, colour, and conversation, and I was delighted to sell most of the work. It was a celebration of growth, beauty, and the uplifting power of nature.

Here, my extensive repertoire of mark-making truly unfolded. Exquisite brush marks sat beside raw, brash strokes — each reflecting my intuitive, expressive approach. These contrasts revealed the emotional depth and physical joy of painting, where every mark carries intention and energy
