Vobster

After swimming in the clear waters of Vobster Quarry — sometimes solo, sometimes with friends — I sketch the vibrant life that unfolds around me. From zipping wetsuits and hesitant entries to warm coffees and post-swim chatter, the quarry is a feast of colour, movement, and community.

I draw swimmers gathering with bright floats, lifeguards watching over us, and friends wrapped in dry robes, sharing their stories. This place offers joy, achievement, and a sense of safety. My drawings reflect the rhythm of the quarry — a space where worries are left behind and life is gently observed.
