Dear friends,
I’m writing with a few joyful updates from a season full of creative momentum, collaboration, and experimentation.

Award
I was honoured to receive the Outstanding Contribution to the Emerge Community award—an unexpected and deeply meaningful recognition. Emerge is a creative space in Bath that nurtures artistic risk, dialogue, and connection, and I’ve found it to be a place where ideas grow and community flourishes.

Show curation
Recently, I had the pleasure of curating a show at Emerge, featuring around 50 works submitted by Emerge artists. The room came alive with a large fabric piece suspended from the ceiling, ceramics, embroidery, furniture, props, metalwork, drawings, and paintings of all sizes. It was a joy to shape the space and bring together my artistic practice with my love of interiors and atmosphere. I’m especially grateful to the team who helped install the work—holding paintings, placing pieces, and making the whole process feel like a dream.

Commission
It’s also been a time of creative expansion. I have been working on a commission—an evolving piece that’s opened up new questions and directions. The ideas behind it are still unfolding, feeding into other projects and conversations. I will share more once the client has aproved!

Since then, I’ve been exploring puppet-making and leading a few workshops.

Open House soon.
And now I’m turning my attention to the upcoming Open House on the weekend of November 23. If you’re nearby, I’d love for you to come by—see the space, share a moment, and catch up. It is easy to book here.
I hope to see you soon.
Warmly,
Natalie
