Here is a great opportunity this Spring to enjoy life drawing workshops here in Bath at The University's Sion Hill campus set in beautiful grounds with parking on the edge of the city. Enjoy a whole weekend or pick a day workshop that suits. With teaching, support, materials provided and an exceptional model, this is a great opportunity to practice drawing and enjoy a relaxed and playful approach to working from the female nude.
There are two weekends but the Saturday and Sunday are slightly different. You can book for either day or both days:
The weekends are:
21-22 February 2026 (10.30-3.30)
9-10 May 2026 (10.30-3.30)
• Saturdays (21 February & 9 May)
Taught by myself, these sessions are suitable for complete beginners through to experienced artists. Numbers are limited to a maximum of eight participants, ensuring plenty of individual support.
• Sundays (22 February & 10 May)
On Sundays, there will be a maximum of four places available. I will be drawing alongside you, so while we will interact and discuss, there will be no intentional teaching. These sessions are best suited to those with a little more experience, or to participants who have attended the Saturday and wish to progress into more independent learning. You’ll work with shorter and longer poses, have opportunities to share, and be encouraged to experiment with unfamiliar materials.

My Approach
I believe life drawing is about experimentation rather than polished outcomes. About the unfolding magic when boundaries are pushed. You’ll be invited to explore your own visual language through:
• Keen observation of the model
• Discussion around the skeleton and body
• Peer response and shared reflection
• Individual guidance (on Saturdays)
• Experimentation with different materials and papers (provided)
Tables are available in the space. If you require specific equipment or want to bring your own easel, let me know so I can ensure everyone has what they need on the day.
